Le SoUper Marché– 1ère édition
Welcome to the SoUper Market!
Every second Wednesday of the month, we transform the old Manège into a vibrant, engaged, and flavorful gathering spot around sustainable food and the people who make it happen.
For this first edition, we’ve prepared an exceptional program for you:
- Le Pédalo Coopérative welcomes you with the fresh selection from Ferme Laute: vegetables, fruits, and local, seasonal products.
- SousBois, a mushroom producer and resident of the site, is selling his fresh produce, along with a big surprise.
- Le Panier du coeur organizes a large distribution of unsold food items collected from the neighborhood, promoting solidarity in food.
- Waijn Kamaraden, our local micro-winemaker, offers you a taste of his first bottles of wine made on site.
- Kefir, kombucha, and fermented drinks: come taste these natural elixirs.
- UR Square beer, in partnership with Bières de Quartier, will be served at the bar by our team – enjoy a refreshing, local beer.
- New menu from Garnish, the food truck of our university canteen, and pizza party.
- La Ferme Nospilis offers plants and seedlings to green your balconies and kitchens.
- The cheeses from Chant des Cailles, for true flavor lovers.
- Homemade pastries and some sweet surprises.
- Le Meet U, a neighborhood collective, brings out the plancha for the occasion – street food vibes guaranteed.
- Live music: the band Las Queridas Do Bruxelas will bring you a musical mix of Samba, Cumbia, and Capoeira.
- Free screening of Food Coop, a deep dive into the first food cooperative in New York. At 6 pm – limited seating.
