Has capitalism gone out of control? From revelations to successive scandals, tax evasion has become a media chestnut and the object of a virtuous declaration contest for politicians. While multinationals and the richest have fewer and fewer scruples and more and more means at their disposal to escape taxes, for us, ordinary citizens, austerity policies are intensifying and inequalities are exploding. They would have us believe that the mechanisms of tax evasion are incomprehensible and that it is impossible to curb... We are then left with only our ballots, our declining purchasing power and our eyes to cry. Unless we can laugh in spite of everything.
