Visite de chantier ― Usquare.brussels

Usquare.brussels is a project to redevelop the former gendarmerie barracks in Ixelles, with the aim of creating an open, mixed-use, multifunctional residential district.

The first phase of the site's redevelopment concerns the buildings fronting on boulevard Général Jacques and avenue de la Couronne, supported by the universities. (ULB/VUB)

At the same time, the Société d'aménagement urbain ( SAU) decided to set up a temporary occupation of the site. This began with @seeU a few years ago and continues with HQ (35 resident projects).

Sustainable food has become a major focus on the site, but cultural, social, educational and circular projects are also making their presence felt.
