Expo Any to Any
The Any-to-Any exhibition brings together artists and students from La Cambre, Erg, and the Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux. Their practices, rooted in assemblage, technology, and sound, take shape through sculptures, installations, and video games.
Their works explore grief, friendships, misunderstandings, and temporary illusions. In a world marked by ecological collapse, the rise of fascism, and the post-truth era, they emerge as responses to contemporary crises, questioning the transformations shaping us. Some pieces address similar themes from different perspectives, brought into dialogue within the exhibition. By turns humorous, serious, intimate, or collective, they resist being confined to fixed categories.
The title refers to a concept in artificial intelligence: emerging models capable of processing any type of data (audio, video, image, text…) and converting it into another format. In an era of memory overload and excess information, where some cultures become increasingly interconnected while others fade into silence, this notion takes on a symbolic weight. Today’s alchemist no longer transforms lead into gold but anything into anything.
Featuring a diverse mix of video games and sculptures, the exhibition invites reflection on shifting forms and evolving narratives.
