In 2019, the Brussels Region decided to renovate the former industrial site of the Graeffe refineries to make it a new cultural, artistic and creative "hub" (cultural hall, workshops, companies, etc.) bringing together a series of players from the cultural and artistic sectors, active in the Brussels territory.

Located on the edge of the Sonian Forest, the site of the Uccle-Boitsfort racecourse covers an area of 32.5 hectares. The SAU is responsible for the restoration of the main historic buildings and is organising the development of this site, which is classified both as a gateway to the Sonian Forest and as a recreational green space for families.
