Oyster mushroom workshop with Fungal Lab | QG USQUARE

This Wednesday, February 21, the Fungal Lab offers you a workshop to make your own oyster mushroom kit that will fruit at home. After waiting a few weeks, you'll be able to pick 2 kg of oyster mushrooms a day, fresh from their growing medium.

We'll also be showing you different projects for designing biomaterials from mushrooms, as well as different ways of growing them yourself at home.

WHAT IS FUNGAL LAB? 

Supported by Brussels Environment, with the "GoodFood" label, the Fungal Lab is a microbiology laboratory dedicated to mushroom cultivation, located on the Usquare site in Ixelles.

We focus on mycelium in urban agriculture projects, but also as an alternative means of producing innovative materials.
